How does EuroMillions work?

Europe’s biggest draw takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays. One line consists of 5 main numbers between 1 and 50 and 2 Lucky Stars from 1 to 12. These will be drawn separately. To hit the jackpot all 7 numbers need to match.

The guaranteed jackpot is €15 million, rising to €190 million. There are 13 prize levels in 2 main balls which are needed to win the smallest prize. If the jackpot is not won, it rolls over to the next draw. All prizes, including the jackpot, are paid out as a lump sum.

The odds of winning any prize at all are 1 in 13. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 116,531,800.

EuroMillions is the richest weekly lottery in Europe and the third-richest in the world. It is played officially in more countries than any other lottery. The record jackpot prize ever in the UK was over £160,000,000 and was hit by a Scottish couple.
The highest prize distributed this way to date was a winning ticket worth £63,837,543.60 which was bought in the Stevenage and Hitchin area for the EuroMillions draw of 8 June 2012.
