The National Lottery Syndicate
– UK’s most popular lottery

How does The National Lottery work?

UK’s Lotto draw takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. One line consists of 6
main numbers between 1 and 59. To hit the jackpot all 6 numbers need to match.

A Bonus Ball is taken from the same pool of numbers after the six main balls have
been dispensed. If a line matches 5 of the main numbers plus this Bonus Ball, the
win will be £1 million.

Jackpots can go up to £20,000,000 and higher with roll-overs, plus numerous
chances to win smaller amounts. The Jackpot can roll over a maximum of five times
in a row before it must be won. If no one matches all 6 main numbers in a Must Be
Won draw, the Jackpot will be shared, so even bigger prizes will be distributed
amongst all cash prize winners (three and more matches)!

What are the odds?

The overall odds of winning any prize are 9.3 to 1. The odds of winning the jackpot
are 1 in 45.057 474
